Since a runaway schoolbus crashed into Wright-Way Animal Rescue's building on Touhy Avenue in Niles Wednesday, Wright-Way President Christy Anderson has barely slept.
"I'm a little overwhelmed," she said at a hastily-organized adoption fair held in the parking lot Friday. "But there are so many people here who are so happy about adopting animals, so some good has come out of the bad."
Watch the video to see what happened after Wright-Way decided to accept the 75 animals that were due to be shipped to its Niles building Friday, and go ahead with the adoption fair.
