Burglar Tries To Enter Home's Basement Through Window, Police Say

Criminal Damage to Property

  • Criminal Damage to Property on the 7700 block of Laramie Avenue, on October 18th at 4:00 a.m.  Reported:  10/18/2013. An unknown person(s) used an unknown object to break out the north and west facing windows on a basement.

Burglary

  • Burglary on the 8900 block of Lamon Avenue, on October 17th between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Reported:  10/18/2013. An unknown person(s) entered the unlocked second floor apartment and stole an Apple Laptop and headphones.

  • Attempted Burglary on the 3800 block of Brummel Street, on October 20th at 10:22 p.m.  Reported:  10/20/2013. An unknown person(s) attempted to gain entry through an unlocked basement window.  The victim was alerted when she heard the window opening.  Approximately 10 minutes later the victim observed a male unknown, 5’8”, thin build, slick black hair, wearing a grey sweatshirt with orange sleeves, waking fast, eastbound on Brummel.
