Theft

• Theft at 3701 Davis Street, Bessie Rhodes School, between September 27th at 8:00 a.m. and October 2nd at 11:00 a.m.  Reported:  10/18/2013. An unknown person(s) stole a Google Chromebook from the school library.

• Theft on the 8300 block of Kenton Avenue, between September 5th at 8:00 a.m. and October 5th at 3:30 a.m.  Reported:  10/19/2013. The victim reported that over the past six months an unknown person(s) has been removing jewelry from a drawer.

• Theft at 4646 Church Street, La Coupe Salon, on October 19th between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  Reported:  10/20/2013. An unknown person(s) stole the victim’s purse from the salon.

• Theft on the 3400 block of Touhy Avenue, on October 20th between 6:40 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Reported:  10/20/2013. An unknown person(s) removed the victim’s iPhone from the victim’s gym bag while he was playing basketball.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 9200 block of Tripp Avenue, between October 14th at 8:00 p.m. and October 15th at 8:15 a.m. Reported:  10/18/2013. An unknown person(s) entered an unlocked Honda Accord and stole a Garmin GPS and spare change.

• Burglary from Motor Vehicle on the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue, on October 20th between 10:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m.  Reported:  10/20/2013. An unknown person(s) entered a Chrysler 300 and stole a handicap placard from the rear view mirror.

Criminal Defacement of Property

• Criminal Defacement of Property on the 8900 block of Bennett Avenue, on October 18th between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.  Reported:  10/18/2013. An unknown person(s) wrote illegible words into the wet cement sidewalk.

Criminal Damage to Property

• Criminal Damage to Property on the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue, on October 20th between 10:30 a.m. and 11:40 a.m.  Reported:  10/20/2013. An unknown person(s) damaged the front of a Volkswagen while it was parked on the street.

Arrests

• Chacko, Jaison, 32, 5300 block of Suffield Court, was arrested on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on the 5000 block of Oakton Street, on 10/18/2013.

• Theodoratos, Dennis A., 26, 4700 block of W. Peterson Avenue, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 10/18/2013.

• Rapoport, Charles, T., 53, 7300 block of Honore, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Driving on a Suspended Driver’ s  License and on a Violation of an Order of Protection on the 9700 block of Gross Point Road, on 10/18/2013.

• Powell, Maxwell B., 25, 9200 block of Osceola, Morton Grove., was arrested on charges of Retail Theft on the 4900 block of Old Orchard Road, on 10/14/2013.

• Ross, Michael A., 28, 4800 block of Greenleaf Street, was arrested on charges of Possession of Cannabis on the 8000 block of Skokie Boulevard, on 10/19/2013.

• Nelson, Ricky, 52, 2300 block of W. Walton, Chicago, was arrested on charges of Driving on a Suspended/Revoked Driver’s License on the 4200 block of Keeney Street, on 10/19/2013.

• Thomas, Torrie N., 33, 8700 block of N. Kimball Avenue, was arrested on charges of Battery on the 9600 block of Gross Point Road, on 10/19/2013.  After being involved in a vehicle accident Thomas struck a relative of the other other driver who was at the hospital.

• Gomez, Paul P., 34, 1700 block of Grey, Evanston, was charged with Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 4800 block of Church Street, on 10/19/2013.

• Manzanares, Alexis, 37, 2900 block of W. Greenleaf Avenue, Chicago, was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of Controlled Substance on the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue, on 10/20/2013.

• Correa, Luis, 36, 3600 block of N. Oriole Avenue, Chicago, was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of Controlled Substance on the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue, on 10/20/2013.  A citizen reported that two men inside Bar Louie had attempted to sell them drugs.  The Skokie Police went to investigate and the two men were subsequently arrested.

• Estrada–Garcia, Martin, 50, 8000 block of Keating #1A, Skokie, was arrested on charges of Driving with No Valid Driver’s License on the 8300 block of Skokie Boulevard, on 10/20/2013.
