Coronavirus: Glenview Public Library Closes Drive-in Window
The window will remain closed until the library reopens.
GLENVIEW, IL — The Glenview Public Library on Friday closed its drive-in window, which will remain closed until the library reopens. The decision was made in conjunction with the Glenview Northbrook Coronavirus Response task force. The library now joins a growing list of public building facilities adhering to the event cancellation and social distancing guidelines laid out by the Illinois Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control.
The closure of the drop-off window means book drops will close until further notice. However, fines on overdue library materials will not be incurred while the library is closed.
Although the library is closed, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, comics, music, movies and TV shows still are available and free with a Glenview Library card. Additional information on digital resources is available at www.glenviewpl.org.
