• 82 Cited, 5 Arrested During Fall Traffic Safety Campaign In Skokie (patch.com) — Skokie drivers saw stepped-up enforcement this fall, with police issuing 80 citations and making five arrests between October 24 and November 3 as part of statewide traffic safety campaigns. Officers focused on speeding, seat belt use, distracted driving, and uninsured motorists, joining other Illinois agencies in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Drive High, Get a DUI” efforts.
