Customer Threatens Papa John’s Employee

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Skokie Police Department:
Customer Threatens Papa John’s Employee
A man walked into the Papa John’s in the 4900 block of Dempster Street at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, and “verbally threatened” a store employee, according to police. The man was described as white, 20 to 22 years old, 5’7” to 5’8”, 140 pounds, with brown hair and wearing a gray fleece and blue jeans.
Arrests: DUI, Possession of Cannabis
Michael Demaret, 22, of the 4800 block of Elm Street in Skokie, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license in the 3200 block of Oakton Street on Friday, May 24, according to police.
Shamiq Hasan, 27, of the 600 block of Birchwood Avenue in Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis in the 4900 block of Oakton Street on Saturday, May 25, according to police
Nathaniel Dawan Brown, 22, of the 4900 block of South Indiana in Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 4909 Old Orchard Center on Saturday, May 25, according to police.
Juan Enriquez-Garcia, 30, of the 2600 block of Albion in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license in the 3300 block of Dempster Street on Saturday, May 25, police reported.
Tsendjav S. Badam, 61, of the 600 block of Windsor in Fox Lake, was arrested and charged with driving without a license in the 7200 block of Skokie Blvd. on Sunday, May 26, police reported.
Brian Michael Moore, 42, of the 2400 block of Prospect in Mount Prospect, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in the 9400 block of Springfield Avenue on Sunday, May 26, according to police.
Theresa Velazquez, 34, of the 1900 block of Grey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving without a license in the 4000 block of Dempster Street in Skokie on Sunday, May 26, police reported.
Yasmin Gomez, 25, of the 8500 block of Mason in Morton Grove, was arrested and charged with disobeying a police officer in the 4900 block of Kirk on Sunday, May 26, police reported.
Girlfriend Batters Boyfriend, Wanted On Warrant
A victim told police that a woman battered her boyfriend, who is wanted on a Cook County warrant, at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, May 26, according to police. No complaints were signed.
Criminal Damage to PropertySomeone smashed the front passenger’s side window of a gray BMW in the 10000 block of Frontage Road between 3 and 4 p.m. Friday, May 24, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.
Someone forced open the rear gate of an apartment complex in the 4800 block of Elm Street between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, causing damage to the gate, police reported.
Theft: Wallet, Bicycle
Someone stole a wallet containing several credit cards between 12:15 and 2 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Nordstrom’s cafe, 4999 Old Orchard Rd., according to police. The thief used the credit cards to buy three iPads.
Someone stole a silver and black Fugi bicycle worth $450 from a bike rack in the 4800 block of Oakton Street between 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, according to police.
Retail Theft
Someone took three pairs of jeans from the Macy’s at Old Orchard Mall, then attempted to leave the store without paying between 5:45 and 6 p.m. Friday, May 24, police reported. He was apprehended by store security.
Someone took several shampoos and cosmetics worth $60 from the CVS at 3434 Dempster St. at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, then drove awayin a Honda Accord, according to police.
A woman stole a pair of women’s shoes from the Old Navy at 9435 Skokie Blvd. at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, May 26, according to police. She was described as a 5’9”, 180-pound black woman with a ponytail hairstyle wearing a brown jacket and black pants and carrying a green shoulder bag.
Car Gets Egged
Someone threw eggs at a car parked in the 7900 block of Kenton Avenue between 6 and 10 p.m. Sunday, May 26, police reported.
