Skokie Announce 2013 Music Lineup for Backlot Bash

Skokie Park District recently announced the music lineup for Skokie’s Backlot Bash, which will be held August 23 to 25. 

Headliners include The English Beat, a ska-punk band that had hits in the 1980s, such as “Save it for Later,” and “I Confess”, as well as The Steepwater Band, a blues and rock band, according to the park district’s website.

• 6:30 p.m. – TBA
• 8:30 p.m. – The Steepwater Band (Blues, Rock)

Saturday, August 24

• 12 p.m. - Filisko & Noden (Roots)    
• 1 p.m. - TBA
• 2 p.m. - The Blue Coast Band (Blues)                        
• 3 p.m. - Joe Sounds Steel Drum Duo (Calypso)
• 4:30 p.m. - TBA
• 6:30 p.m. -  Deals Gone Bad (Reggae, Ska)                        
• 8:30 p.m. - The English Beat (Ska, New Wave)
