Skokie Native Finds Fresh Start in Legal Services
The Skokie Chamber of Commerce recently awarded David Richmond "Ambassador of the Year."

In 2010, when Skokie native David Richmond was laid-off after 25 years working in IT, he tried refreshing his resume with computer classes but to no avail, after a few months he made a drastic change—starting a small business, Lincolnwood Review reported.
Richmond is an independent associate with LegalShield, which offers fixed-price legal services that works like insurance, and two years later Richmond, who was recently awarded Skokie Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year, says his new career gives him and his customers something he lacked during his corporate career, peace of mind, Lincolnwood Review reported.
