Skokie Student Shows 'Resilience, Hard-Work, And Tenacity'

SKOKIE, IL — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Justin has shown amazing resilience, hard-work, and tenacity related to employment. He has worked towards developing skills to not only obtain but maintain employment while continuing to grow in daily living, communication, and community access. He is an example of what hard work and dedication can provide to an individual who faces adversity. Justin has become a leader, role, model, and all-around, reliable young adult. He deserves to be recognized for the efforts. He has put forward related to developing as a independent young adult.

He is a fighter — always pushing forward to become a better version of himself
