- How brave are you? Fear City, ranked one of the top haunted houses in the Chicago region, opens Friday. It's in Morton Grove.
- Niles North High School plays Maine East in football Friday at 7:30 at Maine East in Park Ridge. Just go west on Dempster; it's right past the hospital.
- Niles West High School plays Waukegan at Waukegan Saturday Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. Sorry we can't help you with directions on that one.
