The South Side men face first-degree murder charges stemming from the death of Vasudevareddy Kethireddy.

CHICAGO — Two Chicago men face first-degree murder charges stemming from the death of Vasudevareddy Kethireddy. The Rolling Meadows man had gone missing in August, and his body was found in a sewer on the South Side last week.
Elijah Green, 25, and Tony Green, 22, both of the 6200 block of South May Street, were arrested at their home Saturday and Sunday, respectively, according to Chicago police. Their bond hearing is set for Monday.
According to police, investigators searching for Kethireddy, 76, discovered that the man had died of strangulation. A tip led police to the Greens, and one or both men are accused of choking Kethireddy to death.
