“I say this attack was ’targeted’ because I don’t want the public to feel like this is a random act of violence,” Loughran told reporters. “We’re investigating any relationship between victims and offenders at this time.”

Chicago Fire officials said that two people were found dead at the scene, one man and one woman. The three other victims have been taken to area hospitals as police investigate.
