5 Teens, 3 Others Hurt In School Bus-Motorcylce Crash
The accident happened Monday morning in the Roseland neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — At least eight people — five of them teenagers — were hurt when a school bus and motorcycle colided Monday morning on the Far South Side, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The 37-year-old driver of the motorcycle was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The crash happened just before 6:45 a.m. in the 10900 block of South Michigan Avenue in the Roseland neighborhood, fire officials said. Chicago police's Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the accident, the Sun-Times reports. The individuals injured in the crash included the following, according to the fire department and the Sun-Times:

- a girl, 15, in good condition at MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island
- a girl, 15, in good condition at Comer Children’s Hospital
- a boy, 15, in good condition to Comer
- tow boys, both 17, were taken to Roseland Community Hospital and their conditions were stabilized there
- a man, 19 was taken to Roseland
- a woman, 50, was taken to Roseland
