Chicago Police Shoot, Wound Man After Using Tasers (UPDATED)
The incident happened while officers responded to a domestic disturbance Tuesday in the Bridgeport neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — One person was shot and wounded by Chicago police Tuesday afternoon on the South Side, according to the department. Officers were responding to a domestic disturbance at the time, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi stated in an online alert.
The shooting happened in the 2800 block of South Throop Street in the Bridgeport neighborhood, near St. Barbara Catholic Elementary School, according to a police statement. When officers arrived at the home around 12:01 p.m., they were met by a woman, who said her husband was in a back room with a knife, the release stated.
A confrontation with the husband led to officers using their Tasers twice, police said. The husband then was shot in the thigh by police, according to authorities.
