Ex-Boyfriend Kicks Down Door, Shoots Man In Jealous Rage At Ex-Girlfriend's Apartment: CPD

The 34-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds in his abdomen and foot.

CHICAGO — A 34-year-old man was shot in an apartment early Monday morning on Chicago’s South Side.

Chicago police responded to an address in the 6200 block of South Michigan around 3:20 a.m. The man had been visiting the woman at her apartment, when her ex-boyfriend kicked in the door and shot the man twice, according to a preliminary investigation.

The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and foot.
