Frontier is also expanding service at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, with three weekly flights to Cancun, Mexico, and four flights per week to Las Vegas and Orland, starting in May.
Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines, said the expansion situates Frontier to capture strong existing demand by stimulating new traffic with affordable fares and convenient service.

“We’re excited to strengthen our position in two of the five largest metro areas in the country with 13 new routes and two additional airport options for our customers flying to or from Chicago or Houston,” Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines, said in a news release. “Frontier’s growth in 2021 was nothing short of remarkable, and our team continues to look ahead for new opportunities to expand ‘Low Fares Done Right’ across both the U.S. and our rapidly growing international network.”
The introductory fares must be purchased by 10:59 p.m. CST, Jan. 24 (11:59 p.m. EST). Fares are valid for nonstop travel on select days of the week, from April 28 to June, 29, 2022.
Fares to Orland and Fort Lauderdale are valid from Oct. 12 to Nov. 16, 2022. The airline is betting on increased air travel as the pandemic recedes.
