Girl, 1, Thrown Off South Shore Balcony In Serious Condition
No one is in custody in connection with the incident, which happened Saturday morning.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are searching for the person responsible for throwing a toddler from a South Shore balcony Saturday morning, according to ABC 7 News. The 1-year-old girl was in serious condition at Comer Children's Hospital following the fall, the report added.
According to Chicago police, the incident happened at around 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in the 700 block of South Paxton Avenue, the report stated. Details about what led the girl to be thrown from the balcony have not been released by detectives, who continue to investigate the matter.
No one has been taken into custody in the incident, but a police source told ABC 7 that the family knew the suspected offender.
