Lost Boy Found By Chicago Police Identified, Family Located

UPDATED: Police discovered the boy Sunday night near Rainbow Beach on the Far South Side.

CHICAGO, IL — Police have identfied a boy found Sunday night in the area of Rainbow Beach on the Far South Side and his family has been located. The boy, who is 2 or 3 years old, was found at around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, June 11, in the 2800 block of East 75th Street, police said.

Officers found the boy without a shirt, wearing gray shorts with white strips and black Air Jordan brand sneakers, according to police. He was described by police as 3 feet tall, weighing about 40 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
