Mass Shooting On Southwest Side Leaves 3 Dead, 5 Injured
Chicago police remain at the scene of a mass shooting inside a Gage Park home, where eight people were found shot Monday afternoon.

CHICAGO — Chicago police officers remain on the scene of a mass shooting Monday afternoon in Gage Parl that left three men dead and five others suffering from gunshot wounds. All were in their twenties and were having a party in a home, according to news reports.
Around 2:10 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunfire in the 3500 block of West 59th Street, where they discovered multiple gunshot victims inside a home.
An adult male sustained gunshot wounds to the head, chest, right thigh and right wrist. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

A 26-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was pronounced at the scene. Officers found a third adult male who was also shot multiple times in the body. He was also pronounced at the scene.
Among the wounded was a 25-year-old man who was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound in his left thigh, and was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.

A 27-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
Two victims self-transported to UI Health Hospital, including a 31-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, where he is listed in good condition. A 21-year-old female sustained a gunshot wound in her groin and is also listed in good condition.
A 24-year-old woman sustained two gunshot wounds to her shoulder, and one gunshot each to her right hip, right thigh, left hip and left thigh. She is listed in serious condition at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
No one is in custody. Chicago police are investigating.
