CPD Tactical Officers Recover Guns From Stolen Car After Occupants Flee
Chicago police officers were patrolling a known Latin King area, when they noticed a car full of masked occupants.

CHICAGO — Guns were recovered from a stolen vehicle after the occupants fled in Chicago Lawn, Chicago police said.
8th District tactical officers were patrolling, a known Latin King area during the overnight hours of Aug. 18, when police said they encountered a vehicle full of masked occupants.
A plate check revealed the vehicle was stolen. As officers approached the vehicle, it went in reverse, hitting 13 parked cars.

The occupants fled, but police were able to recover several guns.
