Having served as the Republican Spokesperson during the previous General Assembly, I look forward to continuing my work on the state’s diverse transportation issues, which play a significant role in driving commerce and economic growth throughout Illinois,” said McConnaughay, who has served as Republican spokesperson for the Transportation Committee since 2015.
In addition to making policy decisions relating to transportation infrastructure and safety, the Transportation Committee oversees state transportation concerns pertaining to rules, regulations and licensure matters.
