St. Charles Police Up For K9 Grant: Vote Online
The grant, according to police, would help the department restart their K9 unit, and they need your votes.

ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles Police Department is considering restarting their K9 unit more than two years after losing their beloved K9 Aries. According to a St. Charles Police Department Facebook post, there's an opportunity for the department to be a recipient of the Aftermath K9 Grant. This grant, according to police, would help the department restart their K9 unit, and your help is needed.

St. Charles police are asking community members to vote online for St. Charles, Illinois in this grant competition (be sure to indicate Illinois). You can vote once a day through Nov. 3, according to the website. The department also encourages you to share their Facebook post and the voting link with friends and family, even if they don't live in St. Charles.

First place receives a $5,000 grant, and the grant winners will be announced on Nov. 6.
