Construction Underway For Boulevard at Central Station Apartments
The Village of Tinley Park broke ground Thursday on the long-anticipated Boulevard at Central Station apartments project.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Construction for the new Boulevard at Central Station development is underway after the Village of Tinley Park's groundbreaking ceremony Thursday.
The apartment complex will be a 296,419-square-foot, mixed-use development at the southeast corner of South Street and 67th Court. Plans call for it to be four stories tall, with 29,853 square feet of retail space on the first floor and 165 residential apartment units. It will contain 99 one-bedroom and 66 two-bedroom units. It will be constructed in two phases on about three acres of land and will be built from a combination of brick, precast stone and Hardie Board Siding.
The Boulevard at Central Station complex is located across from the Oak Park Avenue Metra Station at the southeast corner of South Street and 67th Court. It will includes a parking lot for building residents, swimming pool, fitness gym, bike storage, lobby, mail room, lounge area, lease office, conference room and property manager's office.
