Crisis Center for South Suburbia Seeks Meal Prep Volunteers
Those who sign up to prep or serve food will be helping victims of domestic violence who seek shelter at the center.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Crisis Center for South Suburbia is looking for volunteer groups to prepare and serve meals to residential clients living at the emergency shelter.
This is an opportunity to support the mission of the organization and to make a difference in the lives of victims of domestic violence. Clients living at the shelter receive a welcome break from cooking while volunteer groups enjoy the experience and positive interaction with clients.
Meal preparation and serving can be done as a one-time opportunity or on a monthly basis. Local restaurants and business owners can also get involved by donating or catering meals to be served to the clients at the shelter. Catering orders and homemade meals are prepared for about 35 people. The Crisis Center shelter is almost always at or near capacity.
