Road Construction Open House Tuesday In Tinley
The roads project on 175th Street is a few years away, but you can learn how construction will affect your commute and community Tuesday.

TINLEY PARK, IL — The Village of Tinley Park is holding an open house Tuesday to give residents a glimpse of how the 175th Street improvement project will affect their commute and communities.
The $12.8 million-project begins in 2021, but residents can see exhibits of how planning officials envision what the area will look like. The project will fix 175th from Oak Park Avenue to east of Ridgeland Avenue and Ridgeland between 175th and Oak Forest Avenue, the Daily Southtown reported. It will also rebuild Oak Forest Avenue between Ridgeland and 167th. The project includes new curbs, gutters, bike lanes and traffic lights.
Design has not yet begun and final approval is expected in 2020.
