The "Sweet Home Chicago" event is set for Feb. 22 at The Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park.
TINLEY PARK, IL — Tickets are still available for the Crisis Center for South Suburbia's "Sweet Home Chicago" gala, a major fundraiser for the nonprofit that supports victims of domestic violence.
Planned for February 22, at the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park, the event is sponsored by Exelon, with proceeds supporting the social services agency that provides life-saving programs and resources to survivors of domestic violence in our communities.
This year’s gala will celebrate Chicago’s rich culture and beauty, offering attendees a chance to enjoy a locally themed evening while making a meaningful impact for those affected by domestic violence. As the Crisis Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, the event aims to raise $358,500 to support its programs and services.

"This event serves as a great way to raise funds to support our work, but also brings people together to support a common cause to end domestic violence in our communities," said Pam Kostecki, Executive Director of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia. "This night allows us to showcase the impact of what we can do to positively change the lives of survivors of domestic violence."
The evening will feature a Grand Raffle, where one lucky winner will walk away with $5,000 in cash, and attendees can participate in a thrilling live auction filled with exclusive items and experiences, including a South African Safari getaway. Don’t miss the chance to win these amazing items and experiences while contributing to a life-changing cause. The Crisis Center is also still accepting in-kind donations to add to their silent auction.
