Tinley Park Concert Venue Gets Another New Name

Let's see how long it takes us all to call it something else.

TINLEY PARK, IL — Here they go. Again.

Tinley Park's outdoor concert venue Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre has gotten another new name, now to be known as the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. The change became clear to fans as the venue—which is owned by Live Nation—shifted its social media branding Tuesday.

It's the sixth new name for the venue since it opened in 1990.

Some know it as World Music Theatre (1990-1995); for others it's the New World Music Theatre (1995-2001). Then some still call it Tweeter Center (2001-2006), and don't forget First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre (2006-2015). It's been Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre since 2015.

Known as the largest outdoor amphitheater in the Chicago metropolitan area, the 235,50o-square-foot venue can accommodate 28,000 guests, according to the Live Nation website.
