'Love Letters' Coming To Mokena's Curtain Call Theatre For Valentine's Day
Mokena community theatre will put on the play that explores friendship, romance, and missed opportunities, and the power of written words.

MOKENA, IL — Mokena's Curtain Call Theatre has announced the cast and performance schedule for "Love Letters," A.R. Gurney’s Pulitzer Prize–nominated play that explores a lifetime of friendship, romance, missed opportunities, and the power of written words.
Directed by Matt Carey, this intimate theatrical event will feature six local actors, each bringing their own unique chemistry and interpretation to the characters of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner.
"Love Letters" is a deeply moving story told entirely through a lifetime of correspondence — notes, postcards, and letters exchanged over more than 50 years. As Andrew and Melissa navigate childhood, ambition, success, heartbreak, and personal transformation, their relationship unfolds in a way that is as funny as it is achingly human.
