Weather Alert: Tinley Bus Service Canceled, Warming Center Opens
Bus services for senior citizens are suspended until Feb. 1, and the senior center will open as a warming shelter until Thursday.
TINLEY PARK, IL —Bus services for senior citizens in Tinley will be suspended and a senior center will open as a warming center as part of precautions the village is taking ahead of the severe winter weather forecast for the area.
The bus service will not operate until Fri., Feb.1. For questions, call 708-444-5000.
The Tinley Park Senior Center at 17355 68th Court will open as a primary warming center if residents request it. It will be open Tues., Jan. 29 to Thurs., Jan.31. Call 708-444-5300 for more information.
