Battle of the Bands, Inside Look at Vernon Hills' KinderCare Facility

You can find an array of musical entertainment and plenty of other events in and around Vernon Hills this week.

If you're the parent of a preschooler, pay a visit Tuesday to Vernon Hills Phillip KinderCare to learn about daytime and before- and after-school programs.

Wednesday night, take in an evening of country music right here in Vernon Hills. 

And if you're free Saturday, head over to Lali-Palooza at the Lake County Fairgrounds, where you can watch a battle of the bands and help raise money and awareness for the fight against drug abuse.
