As is their annual tradition, the LTHS Peaceable Schools Initiative (PSI) Club has filled over 100 Easter baskets for impoverished youth at Chicago's Off the Street Club. The baskets included items like snacks, toys, books and art supplies.

“The Off the Street Club children who came to pick up the baskets were so polite and grateful," said science teacher and PSI sposor Carol Promisel in a press release. "It was very heart-warming to see the LT students interact with the children. There was an abundance of smiles and hugs.”

PSI offered a special thanks to the girls' softball team for donating 20 assembled baskets.
