This month’s lecture will be on “The Merry Widow”. Come and enjoy a lecture by Volunteer lecturer Charles DeWitt as he discusses the history of the show and play select pieces of the opera. The lecture precedes the performance at the Lyric Opera of Chicago this week. All are Welcome.

Chicago’s only professional pan-Scandinavian band, the Nordland Band has, since its inception in 1990, been invited to perform for the Royal Danish Consulate, at the w\Winnipeg and the Earth Song Folk Festivals in Canada, and has been a regular for many years at Chicago’s Andersonville Midsommar Fest.
