The Greek-style breakfast-and-lunch diner is notable for its expansive menu and prime location at the corner of Gilbert Avenue and 47th Street (right across from the Garden Market shopping center.) Appropriately for a Greek restaurant, Honey Bee puts a particular emphasis on the quality of their omelets. On Sunday, May 13, Honey Bee should definitely be one of your top choices to go with Mom for an excellent breakfast, brunch or lunch. The diner is definitely open for the requisite hours: 6 a.m. through 3 p.m. (any day of the week, too.) No reservations are necessary, or taken. If you prefer take-out, Honey Bee offers that at well, for a small additional charge. And if anyone in your party is a senior citizen, make note of it for a 10 percent discount.
