Swim School Opens In Western Springs
Founded in 1993, the business is part of a six-state chain.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – A swim school has opened in the Western Springs shopping center that includes Mariano's grocery store.
Foss Swim School at 4700 Gilbert Ave. is part of a six-state chain.
On Thursday, Western Springs Village President Heidi Rudolph joined a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the school. Also at the event were the school's founder, Jon Foss, and three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines.

The chain operates 29 locations in Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa.
In Illinois, the school's other eight sites are in Chicago, Bolingbrook, Elmwood Park, Glenview, Highland Park, Libertyville, Niles and South Barrington.
