WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – The Western Springs Police Department's DUI arrest rate is far lower than comparable towns in the area, a study released this week shows.

In 2024, Western Springs counted four DUI arrests, which works out to 0.2 per officer, according to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists.
