Western Springs Police Reports: BMW Emblem Broken, Car Burglary

The information in the following reports is courtesy of the Western Springs Police Department.

Someone reportedly entered an unlocked car that was parked on a residential driveway in the 4800 block of Grand Avenue and removed about $15 in loose currency from the center console. The burglary occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and noon Aug. 4.

Someone reportedly pried off and stole a “BMW” emblem off of the rear hatchback of a car that was parked on a residential driveway in the 1100 block of Longmeadow Lane. The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 9 and 7 p.m. Aug. 10.
