$1 Million In Grants Awarded By DuPage Foundation Includes New Seed Grants
DuPage Foundation recently awarded grants to nearly 60 local nonprofits.

DUPAGE COUNTY — DuPage Foundation recently awarded close to $1 million to some 57 nonprofits in the county as part of its Spring Community Grants.
Four Seed Matching grants were doled out to 501 (c)(3) that have had that designation for fewer than three years. These nonprofits are:
- Grow Wellness Foundation
- Josiah’s House & Esters Throne
- Kits 4 Kids
- Light of Hope Wellness and Counseling
Barb Szczepaniak, DuPage Foundation Vice President of Programs, said in a statement, "The goal is to meet organizations where they are and help them build a strong foundation through fundraising skills. By expanding the breadth of our Community Impact grant program with Seed grants, we can help a new nonprofit scale for effective long-term impact, changing their trajectory and the benefit it provides to the community.”

The Seed grants encourage recipients to fundraise or connect with individual donors. Grant funds will be made made available once the matching grant amount is reached by donations or fundraising.
DuPage Foundation is accepting applications for its Fall Grant Program through Sept. 5.
