17 Locations Join Winter Gear Drive In Wheaton For 2025

WHEATON, IL —Seventeen locations are accepting donations for the 2025 Winter Gear Drive in Wheaton. As part of the Wheaton Community Relations Commission's Wheaton Gives Back program, the annual drive will collect winter coats and accessories throughout October.

Below is a list of the spots in Wheaton that will take donations of coats, scarves, mittens, hats and other items that are new or gently used.

• Wheaton City Hall
• Wheaton Community Center
• Wheaton Public Library

On October 24, residents can volunteer to help unload food as part of People's Resource Center's Stuff-A-Truck initiative. For more information residents can email volunteers@peoplesrc.org.

Last year, the Winter Gear Drive collected more than 2,000 items to help keep residents in need warm throughout the colder months.
