2 Stabbed During Altercation In Jewel Parking Lot In West Chicago

WEST CHICAGO, IL — Two people suffered stab wounds during an "altercation" that took place in the parking lot of a Jewel store in West Chicago Saturday evening, according to police.

Office were called to the store at 177 E. Roosevelt Road around 6:30 p.m. for a report that there was a fight. According to the West Chicago Police Department, two groups of people who know each other "got into a physical altercation."

Two of the people had been stabbed and were treated for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
