April 11 School Lockdown Was For Burglar Search

An active police search for a suspect prompted a brief shutdown on April 11 of a Community Unit School District building, officials confirmed.
Pleasant Hill School, on the first block of Pleasant Hill Road went on a soft lockdown late that morning.
Winfield officers responded and assisted at about 11:30 a.m. April 11 to assist DuPage County deputies. The suspect was not apprehended at that time.
