Car Stolen, Items Swiped From Walgreens: Wheaton Crime Blotter
Wheaton police responded to reports of a stolen car and a retail theft, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police recently responded to reports of a retail theft and a stolen car, according to the city's most recent crime blotter.
On April 22, police were called to the Walgreens store at 1601 N. Main St. for a retail theft. According to the police blotter, two women came into the store around 12 p.m. and put "multiple cosmetic items into their purses." The women then left the store without paying.
In early May, a car was reported stolen from the parking lot of an apartment building in the 200 block of President Street. The victim told police they left their car unlocked in the lot around 5:30 p.m. on May 10. When they returned to the parking lot around 8 a.m. the following day, they noticed their car was no longer there.
