WHEATON, IL — A drive-thru addition is being proposed for a restaurant space at 811 E. Butterfield Rd., Wheaton. The Plan Commission will review the request to add the drive-thru to suite 101, which once housed Chipotle, in a March 11 public hearing.

The Chipotle on Butterfield Road closed in 2023. The building is currently owned by the New York-based Wheaton Retail Wheaton, LLC and will require a special use permit for the drive-thru addition.

As of late February, the name of the restaurant that will occupy the space had not been made public.
