DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — Children can get free dental screenings courtesy of the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) on March 3 for "Give Kids a Smile Day."

DCHD has taken part in the American Dental Association's "Give Kids a Smile Day" for eight years. During this time, county dentists have performed more than 2,400 free dental screenings on hundreds of children who live in DuPage County.

To be eligible, children must be school age and live in DuPage County. Appointments will be conducted at the DCHD Central Public Health Center, 111 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton. The dental screenings include school dental forms and an oral healthcare kit.
