DuPage Women's Club Awards Scholarships to Four Wheaton H.S. Seniors

Four Wheaton High School women were the recipients of scholarships from DuPage Women's Club in May.

Grace Bonowetz and Samantha Valente - both seniors at Wheaton-Warrenville South - were on hand to accept their awards at the May 20 Spring Luncheon and Annual Meeting of DuPage Women's Club at Glendale Lakes Country Club in Glendale Heights.

Recipients Hannah Johnson and Stella Tarusha who attend Wheaton North High School were unable to be present at the event.

Incoming Club President Marilyn Karim said, "We are delighted to support young women who have demonstrated strong academic achievements while balancing extracurricular and volunteer activities as they move forward in their college careers."

Bonowetz will attend University of Wisconsin in Micro Biology; Valente will be at Purdue University pursuing a pre-law curriculum; Johnson will also attend Purdue, majoring in Biology and Tarusha will attend University of Michigan in Engineering.
