Ice Rinks Now Open For 2022-23 Season In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — The ice rinks at Wheaton Park District opened Dec. 1 for the 2022-23 season, giving ice skaters a chance to play hockey or perfect their triple lutzes whenever weather permits.

Visitors must reserve tickets in advance for most time slots this season. The skating times are as follows:

  • Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with reserve skate hours from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wheaton Park District residents can use the skating rinks at no charge with their identification cards. During reserve skate hours, the following fees apply for nonresidents:

  • Adults: $7
  • Children age 17 and younger: $5
  • Seniors age 55 and older: $5

The ice rinks are located at Central Athletic Complex, 500 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton. Skating will be available when temperatures are 40 degrees or lower, so skaters are encouraged to check the Wheaton Park District's Rainout Line.
