Liquor Stolen, Purse Swiped: Wheaton Crime Blotter

WHEATON, IL — A purse was swiped at Whole Foods and someone stole alcohol from Jewel, according to the most recent crime blotter from the Wheaton Police Department.

Police were called to the Whole Foods at 89 Danada Square East for a report of a theft. A shopper said they left their purse was stolen from their cart around 1:30 p.m.

On Feb. 1, a retail theft was reported at the Jewel at 2031 N. Main St. According to police, a man came into the store around 8:25 p.m. and stole "several bottles of liquor."
