Mobile WIC Clinics Coming To DuPage County

The mobile Women, Infants and Children (WIC) clinics will offer health care appointments, WIC food cards and other resources for families.

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — Expectant mothers and families throughout DuPage County will have easier access to free health care services and resources now that Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is bringing mobile clinics to the county. The DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) announced the launch Tuesday and will provide its carevan to facilitate the mobile clinics.

“The WIC mobile clinic will play an important role to reduce health disparities, especially among vulnerable populations, who may lack flexibility in their work schedules, have childcare issues or limited access to transportation.” DCHD Executive Director Karen Ayala said in a statement.

Clients will have access to WIC appointments and services to get food benefits via WIC EBT cards.
