PhilanthroParty Returns To Empower Local Teens In DuPage County

The June 6 event marks the seventh annual Teen PhilanthroParty and will offer motivation and inspiration to help empower kids.

WHEATON, IL — Teens can kick off summer with an event designed to help them feel more motivated, inspired and supported. Geared toward teens in high school, the 7th Annual Teen PhilanthroParty will be held June 6 at College of DuPage.

The theme of this year's event is "Become an Overcomer" and will offer inspirational and informational speeches aimed at increasing confidence and purpose in teens. The event will feature remarks from Brittany Richmond, who will speak about her own ways of living with and overcoming the challenges presented by mental illness.

A raffle will also be held, giving attendees the chance to win prizes.
