WHEATON, IL — Residents can recycle electronics and other items at an upcoming Recycling Extravaganza. The annual event will be held April 13 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds.

Below is a list of items that can be taken to the Recycling Extravaganza:

  • Bikes and bike accessories
  • Books
  • Car batteries
  • Documents
  • Electronics (fee applies for monitors and TVs)
  • Glasses
  • Hearing aids
  • Holiday lights
  • Keys
  • Medical equipment, EpiPens, medications, syringes and other sharps, lancets
  • Musical instruments
  • Paints
  • Propane Tanks
  • Records
  • Scrap metals
  • Soccer gear and accessories
  • Textiles
  • X-rays
