WHEATON, IL — Residents can recycle electronics and other items at an upcoming Recycling Extravaganza. The annual event will be held April 13 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds.
Below is a list of items that can be taken to the Recycling Extravaganza:
- Bikes and bike accessories
- Books
- Car batteries
- Documents
- Electronics (fee applies for monitors and TVs)
- Glasses
- Hearing aids
- Holiday lights
- Keys
- Medical equipment, EpiPens, medications, syringes and other sharps, lancets
- Musical instruments
- Paints
- Propane Tanks
- Records
- Scrap metals
- Soccer gear and accessories
- Textiles
- X-rays
