Remembrance Ceremony Planned For September 11 In Wheaton
A Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 11 in Memorial Park.

WHEATON, IL — Residents are invited to attend this year's September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at Memorial Park in Wheaton. The ceremony will pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and in subsequent battles, along with local military personnel, police officers and firefighters.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a welcome address from Wheaton Mayor Phil Suess. Members of the city's police and fire departments will also be on hand.
Ceremonial music will be played by local musicians and there will be an honor guard ceremony.
